    New chapter in the kitchen

With the exclusive hansgrohe Aquno Select M81, a new chapter in the kitchen begins. In the design, PHOENIX considered the optimum workflow at the sink as well as the careful handling of water with maximum functionality and clear design. A new archetype of kitchen mixer is defined.

No matter what is currently in the sink: with the flat shower, an additional option is available for a clear laminar and voluminous shower spray. Intuitively you change at the hansgrohe sink with the Aquno Select M81 mixer to the just needed jet. The three options make the versatile mixer a multi-talent, the combination of flatness and round arch makes the fitting become the new archetype in the kitchen.

  • Pupils discover design

    Pupils discover design

Once again, PHOENIX is promoting the discussion of "design in school" at the Werkgymnasium Heidenheim/Germany. At the end of February, young people between the ages of 14 and 16 were introduced to the design process from the first idea to product development. Designer Steffi Moser accompanied this one-day workshop.

In the workshop, the students went to their own work: collect adjectives and pieces of furniture and build a "fast model"! A charming wardrobe or a pointed lamp? The youngsters are allowed to model their favorite combination of simple materials (e.g. corrugated cardboard, wire, straws) according to their own ideas. Research, find ideas, analyze, further develop, implement together, present - all tasks that also have to be dealt with in everyday professional design. There are no limits for the fanatasy. And besides, creativity, willingness to experiment, networked thinking and a well-designed environment are encouraged.

With this, PHOENIX wants to raise awareness early on about the processes and decisions behind a finished product - because it influences our everyday culture and the perspective with which we see things.

The E-nya Stent Graft System was developed for the endovascular treatment of diseases of the descending thoracic aorta. With E-nya, a sterile implant is inserted permanently into the body using an insertion system. During release into the aorta, the stent graft expands to cover the damaged vascular segment. This ensures that the blood flow is maintained. The E-nyas delivery system follows a new design language - pure, reduced to the essential. It is structured by clear colour coding and underlines the ergonomic and intuitive operability.
