Golden Phoenix 2016
Architects’ Darling® Awards. In 2016, the renowned "Golden Phoenix" is awarded to Hansgrohe. Those who can hold this award in their hands can truly say: "Our product and its design have convinced Germany's architects." This is the fifth time that Hansgrohe has been able to accept this "Oscar of the construction industry".
In 2016, Hansgrohe is once again one of the most popular brands among architects and planners. At the Architects’ Darling Award 2016, the sanitation specialist from the Black Forest receives the Gold prize in the category „Sanitary fittings and accessories“. The coveted award was handed over during a gala event at the "Celler Werktag", an established industry meeting. There, 400 representatives from the German construction industry were gathered. Hansgrohe had been awarded the Gold trophy already in 2011, 2013 and 2015.
With the "Architects' Darling" awards, publisher Heinze Bauverlag honours manufacturers from different product categories favoured by architects and planners, as well as the winners in the main overall categories of energy efficiency, barrier-free access, design, sustainability and innovation. Though being the sponsor and organiser of the Architects’ Darling® Awards, construction networker Heinze was not the one to choose the winners; rather, they handed over the trophies acting in lieu of some 1,700 architects and planners who had participated in a large-scale survey conducted by Heinze market research.
